Mike Moody

My X̱aayda (Haida) name is Ḵuuya. I am from the Raven Clan of Naay K'un Kiigawaay. Growing up in Skidegate, I have been surrounded by talented artists like my parents - a Master Carver and an expert weaver - my whole life. I am mostly self-taught, but my art is heavily inspired by the works of my ancestors and I hope to continue to contribute to the revitalization of Haida art.
