Rose Harbour is the only settlement on privately owned property within the Gwaii Haanas boundaries and is the site of an abandoned whaling station. The community is comprised of two very popular guest houses which offer guided boat tours of SGaang Gwaii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This community of a handful of residents is completely off-grid and only accessible by boat or floatplane.Pre-booked Inland Air charters are available from the Queen Charlotte Harbour.
