The Love Weekend!

Love Haida Gwaii’  is a new website for Haida Gwaii businesses. It introduces small businesses on Haida Gwaii and features inspiring stories of our service providers. We thought we would introduce you to some of our local businesses, in the context of a designer staycation weekend!

Are you craving a weekend experience that will leave you rejuvenated? How about a ‘pampered weekend get-a-way’? Well, come on, let’s create it!

Dorothy & Mike's Guesthouse & Cottages

Imagine a weekend spent in decadence at The Eagle Feast House B&B in Masset, Smillie’s B&B in Port Clements, the Haida House at Tllaal or Dorothy and Mike’s Guesthouse & Cottages in Queen Charlotte. Each of these Love Haida Gwaii accommodations offer that ‘extra touch’ of luxury and attention to detail that will make your weekend special.

Does your ideal get-a-way include a catered breakfast on a private deck with harbour or inlet views or perhaps a full menu breakfast in the dining room? In your chosen ‘get-a-way’, you can lounge by the fireplace with a good book, have a luxurious soak in a Jacuzzi or a relaxing sauna on the deck overlooking the harbour. This weekend just keeps getting better!

You may want to take a morning break and savour the artistically created coffee or specialty tea at one of our very popular coffee shops such as The Ground Gallery and Coffee House in Masset or Jag’s Beanstalk in Skidegate.

Perhaps an afternoon spent with one of our skilled estheticians will help you to unwind. A massage, facial, manicure, pedicure…you’ll float out the door feeling like a new person! Consider Amber’s Spa and of Queen Charlotte or Eri-Cut & Nailed of Skidegate.

Have you made dinner plans, yet? Consider a fabulous dinner for two (remember to reserve a table for these popular dining locations!): Charters Restaurant in Masset, the Haida House at Tllaal and the Oceanview Restaurant in Queen Charlotte

What better way to end the day than to sit back and watch the setting sun or take a moonlit stroll on the beach under the stars. After all, this weekend is yours.
